Christmas miracle – mint
The Christmas stamp features a Christmas tree and a reindeer.
“The theme and illustrations of the Christmas stamps were inspired by Finnish nature. I wanted to showcase the magic of our winter landscape. The bright colours of the northern lights emphasize the magic of the period waiting for Christmas and the feeling of celebration, and reindeer are an obvious part of the northern landscape," says artist Hanna-Maria Mainelakeus.
The stamp is one in a series of two, the other being the stamp “Christmas path”.
