Åland stamps describe the nature, culture, history, industries, and society of the island province. Åland Post strives for a balanced mix of historical events, modern phenomena, current themes, and beloved motifs that are connected to Åland.

Keep in mind:

• Forward planning is necessary when it comes to stamps. From idea to finished stamp, the production process takes about two years.
• Motivate your proposal. Why is your idea suitable for an Åland postage stamp? You are welcome to attach an image or a simple layout that will clarify your idea.

Submit your proposal with motivation via the form below or post your proposal to Åland Post Stamps, PO Box 1100, AX-22111 Mariehamn, Åland, Finland. Mark your letter "stamp proposal"

What happens after submission?

When you have submitted your proposal, the Stamp Committee of Åland Post will review it. The decision-making process takes a few months. You will be contacted if the Stamp Committee decides to proceed with your proposal.
