Winter dreams, fox – mint
The stamp celebrates the beauty of winter and is ideal for Christmas and winter greetings.
The stamp features a fox next to a frozen pond.
The artist Juta Policja found inspiration for the stamp issue Winter dreams on her winter walks in the countryside around her home in Sund, Åland. There, she often encounters the animals that feature in the issue: the deer, the fox, and the bullfinch.
The stamp denomination Världen (i.e. the world) indicates a specific monetary value when used as postage to send a card or letter. The value corresponds to the current postage tariff for a Priority mail item up to 20 grams from Åland to any destination in the world.
