In Finland, Valentine’s Day is the second most popular card season after Christmas.
The stamp illustrations depict moments of friendship, joy and sharing. A Scandinavian design style, exceptional colour combinations and playfulness are characteristics of illustrator Leena Kisonen’s work. In her illustrations, Leena combines paper cutting and vector graphics. “I first cut the elements of my work from paper, then scan them before I construct the final illustrations digitally on a computer. My work is therefore a combination of handiwork and digital techniques.”
