Winter in Moominvalley – mint
Tove Jansson’s beloved Moomins feature on Posti Finland’s 2026 Christmas stamps.
The stamps are inspired by Tove Jansson’s short story The Fir Tree, which marks its 70th anniversary in 2026, and her 1957 novel Moominland Midwinter. In these stories, the Moomins awaken from their winter slumber, experience Christmas for the first time and discover the wonders of winter.
On this stamp for Christmas greetings within Finland, the Moomintroll, Little My and Too-ticky play together on a snowy slope.
