Åland Post's contribution to the 2018 Europa stamp series features the Bomarsund Bridge. Connecting the main island with the island of Prästö, this arch bridge is located in Sund near the ruins of the Bomarsund fortress. Built in 1958, the bridge is 61 metres long and constructed in concrete.
